"Smile"
"Smile"... is a gem that I wrote while collaborating with Hyphen-One & Daylow. (Hit the play button and try not to dance!) "Through collaborations with Hyphen-One, Barbie met the band Daylow and offered her voice to their 8 piece hip-hop, funk, fusion project from 2006 through to 2010 - using the stage name "Ruby!" Their 2008 album release "ill regular" caught underground, industry and festival attention."
Barbie fronted the Central NJ B-side, deep cover, original funk music project "What the Funk!"
Barbie is currently writing and collaborating with singer/songwriter Nick Depuy. She provided background vocals on Nick's new album "Don't be Sorry" - released October 2017. Catch her new tune "For Generations" (co-written with Nick) on his new album.

Through collaborations with Hyphen-One, Barbie met the band Daylow and offered her voice to their 8 piece hip-hop, funk, fusion project from 2006 through to 2010 - using the stage name "Ruby!" Their 2008 album release "ill regular" caught underground, industry and festival attention.
Barbie used the stage name "Ruby" to write and record a jazz influenced orignial album with Jerry Bohrer in 2008. Their album was released shortly before her residency at the Baz Bar in St. Barths.
Barbie met Anthony Lee Loops in 2008 when they both performed with "Ms. Sherri and The Little Animal Band." They have reconnected (as Anthony is the drummer in What The FUNk,) and they are working on future reggae beats.
Barbie met Zach Hurd while attending Wheaton College in Norton, MA and shortly after graduation they established the acoustic duo "Causeway." From 2003 through 2007 they toured college campuses nationally and received radio, press and label attention. They released 2 full length original albums (Parallel Lines and Endless Summer).
